All of these games have came down to the wire the exception of game 4. Which he played in shall we not forget. They got lucky tonight though.

You know what, just stop please. First of all it was his first game back in the last game and he was rusty and only player for a little bit, he played amazing tonight and kept us in the game for the most part. Wire or not this thread is about Al so give him his props and stop being so negative.

Yeah it's amazing that they didn't have instant chemistry in game 4 with Al only being out of the lineup for 3+ months.

-The Hawks had basically the same season without Al that they would have had with him.-The other games were all basically close just like this one with the exception of game 4.So, with Al we have seen them get blown out, and we saw them win by 1 point while making a lot of mistakes. Without him, they lost 2 really close games just like this game tonight and they won the first game really close.What to gather is that for the most part the Hawks can play Boston close with or with Al. He had a GREAT game tonight, but history doesn't suggest that the game wouldn't have been close if Al hadn't played. Edited by Hotlanta1981

Bulls did great w/out Rose in the reg season too. If you think reg season games and playoff games are equal in that respect, you know very little about basketball.

Only problem is they could have also won games 2 and 3 without Al.Al had a great game, but no matter if he is in or out this team will largely play the same way.But celebrate the victory. That's all for me tonight. Edited by Hotlanta1981

You know you contradict yourself?You say...1. All the game have been close.2. Except for Game 4.3. They got Lucky tonight.I would say contradict but I would say you draw a bad conclusion.Why not say Boston got Lucky in Game 4?

Boston plays fundamental basketball. They've played hard every single game while Atlanta has not. Boston has been to the big dance... The hawks are the dumbest team in the NBA. They left Paul wide open for a big three late.... Josh Smith turned the ball over on the inbound pass at the end. Outside of the Orlando series last year the Hawks have pretty much scraped by in their playoff wins because they struggle to execute late. This team plays a poor brand of basketball and in the playoffs each possession is much more important and so when the Hawks pull out these games like this tonight, I consider it more of luck than anything else.The hawks are known for a number of blowout L's in the playoffs. So it's surely not shocking that it happened in game 4. Edited by Hotlanta1981
