Buzzard
I am ready to make my picks too. Draft is getting slower and slower. Averaging a day a round I think. Not a bad pace but seems like the 1st two rounds went quicker.
Buzzard
Southern Bred select.......Steve NashCan't pass up the value for a second year...I like that pick and you got the steal of this draft so far! Nash in the 5th round of any draft is unheard of!
Admin
So what's going on with the picks? I was out of pocket today so who's up and when is their time over? I expected that y'all would have been waiting on me by now.
Premium Member Diesel Posted June 24, 2012 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 24, 2012 The Atlanta Ganstaslappas select... Paul Pierce. Yes, there's a lot of guys who are younger. There's a lot of guys who seem like they should be better... However, he brings championship experience and heart. This year, he played all games and put up a 19.4 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 4.5 apg. That's right.. 4.5 apg. This late in the draft, I think this is a very good pick... Lawson - PG Afflalo = SG Pierce = SF Love = PF Gortat = C. We're cutting off all rebounds, we're limiting teams to one shot. We're defending hard. Then on offense, we're taking shots from everywhere. Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted June 24, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted June 24, 2012 With the 72nd pick in the 2012 Hawksquawk Summer Dynasty Draft, PSSSHHHRRR87's Birds of a Feather select: Andrew Bogut, C A true 7'0"er that averages a double-double. In 2011, out of all centers, he was the 2nd best in rebounds at 11.1 and lead the league in blocks at 2.59/g (although it was over only 65 games). Even though he seems to be injury proned, he is expected to be fully healthy at the beginning of summer camp. Admin
In the 5th round, with the 73rd pick, in the 2012 HawkSquawk Summer Dynasty Draft, The Dolfan Dynasty selects:Kenneth Faried, PF - 6'8" 228 lbs - "The Manimal"Needing a starting SG this decision weighed on me very heavily but with the run on SG's in the last 10ish picks I decided totake a guy who I feel is a massive steal at this point in the draft. A guy that I feel could be a top 2-3 round pick in the next draft like this. Kenneth Faried, aka The Manimal, is a major hustle player who loves to block shots, rebound, take the ball away and play way above the rim! He's capable of playing the SF or PF spot and will outwork anyone on theopposing team. Buzzard
I think you need to be a contributing member to post the graphics. I know I got an error when trying to put some up earlier in this draft. If things go well I can probably get in two picks today! Mutombolievable
Alright, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this guy comes back the player he was before China and his injury but i'm going with Wilson Chandler to start at SF. I really like this guys game. He's a good defender and a very good shot blocker at his position and doesn't need a ton of shots to be happy. Still very young and a solid all around NBA player. I also remember him killing us all the time while he was on the Knicks. He is supposed to ready by training camp this season.Brook LopezJ SmooveWilson ChandlerMonta EllisRussell WestbrookPMd Alejandro Edited June 24, 2012 by Mutombolievable
