It's not all bad in the Valley of the Sun...

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/20120704phoenix-suns-grab-more-talent.html

On the night they paved Steve Nash's path to the Los Angeles Lakers with another sign-and-trade agreement, the Suns followed Tuesday's offer sheet commitment from Eric Gordon by agreeing to terms with unrestricted free agents Goran Dragic and Michael Beasley.

The Suns convinced Dragic to agree to terms on a four-year, $30 million contract ($34 million with annual $1 million All-Star bonuses) with a fourth-year player option and Beasley to pledge to a three-year, $18 million contract when signings begin Wednesday.

Dragic, 26, will be the Suns' starting point guard and could play some off-guard down the line if first-round pick Kendall Marshall develops. Dragic was traded by the Suns with a first-round draft choice to Houston in Febuary 2011 for Aaron Brooks but the Suns are atoning for the move by outbidding other suitors.

Not that they were trying to keep Nash, but this should work out better for them than Nash anyway.
