Premium Member Vol4ever Posted June 30, 2013 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 Bynum can play, remember back in the playoffs a couple of seasons ago he dominated. Question is does he want to play and does he have the work ethic? He is the closest thing to Dwight Howard. I would roll the dice on him.
GameTime
If he can accept a 1-2 year option deal (offer him max to fill up cap) it wouldn't be a bad Plan C.
wolvetigers
I agree he has talent, but unfortunately his mind is not in the right place..he rather bowl, and do other stuff than play ball. Bynum has a kid's mentality and I would sign him to a 1year deal for about 7 to 8mill with gurrantees in place Edited June 30, 2013 by wolvetigers
pimp
As I said in a post last month, I would give Bynuma contract that has a team option in the 2nd year. That way if he is gimpy, we can get out the contract , and sign 2014 free agents. Ruckus
Rather have Pek. Bynum is plan C for me at the Center position.

Ruckus
We need to do psychological evaluations on him first.

I think 80% of injuries comes from players not doing the right thing with their bodies.
Guest Zone
If people on here want the hawks to have a different image going forward, we shoudn't sign him.
Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted June 30, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 Dwight still a possibility but if he chooses Houston, then I would be okay with Bynum because he is: Dwight - star power + injury-proneness + a mid-range jumper + reliable FT shooting. I'd take a shot at him on a 3-year deal. I believe Horf/Bynum would be just as dominate as Howard/Horford.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That could sink our battleship if it didn't work out and there is a good chance that it wouldn't.

TheFuzz
Mixed feelings on this. He's obviously got a lot of talent and is fairly young, but his knees are awful and he seems like an ass and we're a young team. I don't know. Maybe on a 1-2 year deal. ATLscrubLove
I'd rather have Bynum than Jefferson... High risk high reward with this guy but could be worth it.
TheFuzz
Agree with you there. Bynum has more upside as a 2 way player.

Johnnybravo4
the folks who want us to tank are the ones who don't spend money to go to games. Us season tix holders would wish otherwise.
kerrypack
I'd think that Bynum will make a LOT less money this season. If so, he might make sense.
