who the hell cares!!!!! all u care about is autographs like a little kid anyway. u crying more than Jeff was, and he had a legit reason

Half of the people that get autographs at Hawks games are 30+... I'm no where near that. I get autographs because it pays my way into the game... Of course I like meeting players and keeping some for myself but still. Sounds like someone is jelly.

Diesel has dreams of Teague being a potential superstar, that's the only way to make sense of the delusion.

Whatever the hopes for Teague is not the point. The point is that you don't make statements like that on that man's personal twitter account (because you can).

Basically...Is it dumb to go after Teague on twitter? Yeah, it's pretty stupid.Should this effect Teague at all? Not one bit.If it does, should we worry? YES!

The tweet wasn't directed at Teague... However he was mentioned, I was talking to a guy that was d riding him... Thanking him for "coming back" I simply said he didn't do it voluntarily and that he will be gone once Schröder gets good anyways.

I just like the irony of the arguments.THIS IS WHY STARS WON'T COME HERE, HOW CAN WE TREAT JEFFREY LIKE THIS WHEN WE HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO SEE HIM WITHOUT THAT DUMB ASS PIECE OF SHIT CHUCKING TILAPIA CONCH f***ing DUMMY JOSH.OH, OH! IT'S OKAY FOR ME TO SAY THAT BECAUSE I'M SAYING IT ON A DIFFERENT OUTLET OF SOCIAL MEDIA SO IT'S NOT LIKELY TO AFFECT JOSH BUT SHAME ON THAT GUY FOR GOING ON THAT OTHER FORUM OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND TALKING SHIT.We should have ushers escort anybody that heckles or boos a Hawk out of Phillips too while we are all having our periods. I mean, when Boston or New York fans do it it's because they are so knowledgeable and passionate but nothing but good vibrations here, Hawks fans, our players are more sensitive than pandas.

I don't and have never jumped on any squawker for saying anything about any player on Hawksquawk or any forum. If a player comes to a forum, he may be assualted because that is what most forum fans do. Even the best players have fans that just don't like them. So they know if they encroach, they should have thick skin.

But the day that this man is resigned to come back to the Hawks, to have to look onto his personal twitter site and see some fan of the team he's going to talking about how much of a lame duck he is.... serves what purpose?? Didn't Scrub have a forum that he could speak openly about how much he disliked Teague? Does he now how to go to Teague's own recreational site and do the same? In this day in time, it's no different than going past his house and throwing eggs on it. Would you do that Scrubb? Or worse?

My thing is that there's a strong community of NBA players on twitter. They see how their friend are treated by the "fans". For you to flex your hide behind the computer screen muscles and talk shit about a player in that public arena hurts everything that the team is trying to do. Talking about culture change....

[*]The tweet was in reply to someone that mentioned Teague under his tweet.

[*]He is getting paid either way so why would he care what a random fan thinks?

[*]HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE HERE! PERIOD. Straight from his mouth.

What is the point in sucking up to a player that said "I WANT OUT"... Sorry I don't and wouldn't tolerate this from any Hawk.

Did it start that way?

Jeff Teague, should he be back, is excited to work with Budenholzer. Teague told Chris Vivlamore of the AJC, "I'm excited to work with a coach who has worked with one of the best point guards in the league in Tony Parker."

So from the get go, Teague was excited... Happy... Looking forward to being back.

Then...

ATL G Jeff Teague’s camp has”growing frustation” in how his free agency has been handled with zero meaningful contract discussions, Y!source

The thing is that Ferry could have fixed this problem but in his secret nature, he allowed this to get bigger than it needed to be.  Teague was speaking out of frustration.  Nobody in their right mind really wants to leave Atlanta for Milwaukee.  And honestly, Teague didn't want to leave this opportunity to play for the guy that constantly benched him and took the ball out of his hands. But when he has agents and the other teams GM telling him how much he wants him.. what do you expect??

The truth is that same excited guy will be excited to be a Hawk.  Unless stupid ass fans keep cotweeting him on BS ass tweets telling him that he's a lame duck.

Yawn......

Twitter is a public forum, just like Facebook or Tumblr or Youtube except you personally run your own page. If you don't want people calling you ugly or the N word or saying you suck......don't go on social media or learn how to update your ignore/block lists and how to delete posts. It's not your house that they are coming into, you are putting yourself out there in the world and you are expecting sugarplums and gumdrops in return? SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE me. A simple Google search of their own name will lead them to same ole Diesel bashing them over 10,000 posts so stop trying to split hairs pretending as if someone walked up to him during dinner with his fam and told him to enjoy it, that it might be his last in Atlanta.

And let's cut this emotional bullshit. He didn't resign in Atlanta, he signed in Milwaukee.......and Atlanta matched. He didn't want to be here, he wanted to be elsewhere so why exactly should he expect nothing but warm embraces and kisses from the people he tried to abandon not even a week ago?

Lets get some facts straight. No discussions to keep Teague, no contract offer and Teague was courted by another team. Is it no surprise he didn't want to stay on this crap team? We have boofheads claiming Schröder is the future and Teague is a knucklehead chump ...... Dennis aint even played a game!

If the Teague bashers want to bash, then for gods sake don't let the facts get in the way of your witch-hunt.

Facts? Do you know any of this for truth? Do you have sources? Danny Ferry's home number? Or, just like Diesel, are you Teague's uncle? The NBA is a business, deal with it. "Meaningful contract discussions" could just mean that the Hawks only offered X amount of dollars and told Jeffrey he's more than welcome to find higher if he can. I sincerely doubt you have sat in on any discussions so don't go around spouting "facts".

I invite you all to come spend a week in New York where I currently live. They have dozens of local papers competing to see who can get the best shot in at all the the top pro players in the city. They have dozens of radio talk shows where callers flood the phone lines just to say how much of a bum they think a New York player/coach is. The same is true for the local news' channel sports talk shows. When you are in the Garden fans don't hesitate to boo a bad performance by any player, they even booed Ewing FFS. If you are in the street, club or barbershop people aren't afraid to say a player sucks directly to their face.

And you know what? The players love this. They accept this challenge. They call New Yorkers the best and most knowledgeable fans in the world and wax poetic about how they won't hesitate to tell them the truth. They aren't running away crying for the Diesel White Knight to come save them, they recognize this as an opportunity to win over some new fans. They aren't forming a brotherhood and saying "stay away from New York, dawg. Them fans no good!" Naw, they're doing the exact opposite.

Some random fan points out the fact that the Hawks drafted a new PG and the fact that the front office supposedly didn't see him as a priority and let him sign elsewhere and the Teague Protection Force all have a collective menses over this? Really now? This is the big bad comment indicative of a bad fanbase? Well then, I sincerely hope he doesn't share the temperament of folk in this thread, he's likely to be crying into his tickle me Elmo as I'm typing this.

This man wanted to leave Atlanta for Milwaukee. That means you REALLY wanna get outta here. Yes, I know we don't usually entice free agents to come here, but it's 10x worse in Milwaukee, they literally have to build from the draft or they're toast every year. So it's quite simple, if you have a player trying to leave the city of Atlanta for Milwaukee...I don't want him here either. period. Even more so with a future star and REAL, legit PG in Dennis.
