Plainview1981
He made it last year. No matter how much you hate that, you can't take it away. Dana Barros and Chris Gatling made it once and people don't think ofthem as all stars. Same for Kyle.

I think Korver has had a better career than both of those guys. Not discounting them though, Barros was actually one of my favorite Supersonics back in the day. And I remember the night the Gatling gun was drafted by the Warriors...good role player, lotta heart despite the gunshot wound in his head. DJlaysitup
Kyle is not a real allstar. Holy Ph_#$ing Sh!T !! Who are you? Are you out of your G%*&damn#d mind? Seriously. are you out of your G%*&damn#d mind? Kyle Korver was the leader is 3 point %age in the whole NBA (LEADER) and was selected to the All-star team. You are not making any sense whatsoever. I get the "contrarian" gig - but if you just gonna say stupid sh!t ?????????????

Before Korver got here he was just one of many 3pt specialist in the league. His selection to the game was a joke... High 3pt percentage or not.... The rest of his production fails the test. atlhawks1
Idk, when we first got Demarre I felt like we needed a starting caliber SF and we just made him into one. Who's to say Bazemore couldn't develop? It's possible. Josh Smith might have a better jumpshot than Bazemore..........

Just like the guys I mentioned. If token sounds better to you... Then fine... He was a token all star. But he has no shot at making it again. DS17Fanboy
Getting Crowder would be optimal right now. He's allot like Carrol. Doesnt run the lines as effective, but gives you allot more boxing-out for the starting 5. Something that could be a good trade-off imo. Harris would be nice to, is more talented, but doesnt fill that SF spot in a similar veighn, while I think he could be to much of an ego as well. sillent
It's funny how most including myself didn't think Carroll was a legit starter when he got to our team. People are sleeping hard on Bazemore but I believe he's going to wake a lot of folks up this year as a starter. Than it'll be DeMarre who?? Then he's in line for a big pay raise and we'd only have EB rights. No more 2 year deals, lol.

Premium Member sturt Posted July 2, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 2, 2015 Forgive if someone else said something like this already--I would be surprised if someone hasn't, in fact. But as I drove in to work this morning, I was struck by the fact that four of our guys were All-Stars last February.... and we're going to come back in November with all four of those, plus a new legit big and a new microwave coming off the bench. And we actually still have a premier wing more than capable to guard practically any other wing out there who is odds-on favorite to start as soon as he gets back from rehab. It's true... the glass-half-full side of the Hawks congregation has some things to smile about. Pity the groaner-moaners side today, though... of course, otoh, what day don't I pity them? hylndr11
Would be nice if Scott takes this opportunity to carve out a place for himself on the team regardless of what happened between them, Him and Bud - maybe they have a plan, its a reach but not much else going on
Alex
I just can't wrap my head around four question marks regarding our roster. And two of those are starting spots. Korver, Thabo, Bazemore, and Hardaway Jr are all huge question marks. I would be less concerned if it weren't for this fact. Korver is probably never going to be the same player again. Last season was arguably his best ever at least the first 50 games or so. Bazemore could turn out to be a player moving forward. I loved what I saw from him in the playoffs even though I was extremely hard on him. I have the most confidence in him, but even then that stills leaves one spot vacant.
