Food for thought

With the raptors looking to have the same fate as us except their looking to be more gruesome. I had an idea that actually makes some sense for both teams. 

 

We we trade them Jeff Teague and sign an trade Kent Bazemore for Cory Joseph and their 9th pick overall. 

 

Theyd do this because it'd give them a Point Guard that is consistent and could provide some scoring off the bench. Not only that, but with Derozan all but out the door to head to LAL they get a solid SG/SF who has proven starting ability in a (hopeful) friendly deal to their situation. 

 

We'd do it because we would receive Cory Joseph who is a younger guard who has proven that he can run the Spurs system with fluidity. Plus we also get the 9th pick in the draft so we could possibly select a impact now type player to help out our roster.

Can't sign and trade with additional players.  And you don't want to trade 2 starters for a bench player and a rookie.
