I like the pick a lot and think we are very fortunate he dropped to 19, I did not even have Collins as someone we should take at 19; thought for sure he would be gone. Great pick and I think a steal!!!

Schlenkholzer has already cleared us of D8's misfitting contract and stolen a 13th pick at 19. A+ from me already...

I've been on this board from before bud to now. We've gone through every phase. Some fans have whined for something different no matter what. 

No matter what plan we take its always "treadmill" even though we're doing different things. And now schlenk is blamed for things he wasn't even here to do. 

I get it. It's Atlanta. Our fan bases will complain about "treadmill" until someone wins a championship. I just think it's an incredibly obnoxious way to go about Fandom. Some will completely dog a plan no matter where it's taking us until it results in a title. See the falcons last year. People complained allllllll off season until, poof, the plan actually worked. 

I don't subscribe to this Atlanta notion that every plan is terrible until it's completely proven it's not.

Don't get me wrong as a fellow sarcastic asshole it was hilarious... but not appropriate for that kid on this night. 

I have nothing good to say about Dukies but Uncle Toms is awful.

The most encouraging thing I've heard is he's an Army brat and well-traveled. The most discouraging is the defense.  You can learn to be a decent team defender, but you're either a stopper or you ain't.  Hearing teams "took advantage of him" on D worries me.  

If he's as efficient in the PNR as Bilas stated (1.7 points per) and is a plus rebounder I can try to forgive the defensive shortcomings.  At pick 19 and 19 years old I like it.

I know @Sothron likes the Butler trade but I don't like the fit too tough.  He does everything Wiggins does and much more.  He needs a wing mate who is great at off the ball play, range shooting, and defense (none of Wiggins' strong suits).  Butler needs the ball quite a bit as well, I don't see how Rubio fits being such a poor catch and shoot player.  Any plus defensive player can play with Towns so no issue there.
