terrell
I like where we're at. Let someone else overpay a player that wont contribute for a while. lol. 6th pick makes almost half less salary than #1... Last year Zion(4 yr 44 million) Culver(4 yr 26 million) More FA $ for us...........lol Edited August 21, 2020 by terrell

Odds of a top 5 pick was 55.4%. We had a 44.6% chance to land at 6 or lower. The weighted average spot for us if the lottery took place an infinite number of times was 4.43. Six is below where we were expected to be even though it was the single most likely spot to land. Your'e right, Burn it all to the ground, the universe is against us!!!!! It’s not the end of the world but we slipped below the most likely scenario. We fell 2 spots from pre-lottery position and 1.5 slots from the weighted average expected position.

From 2000 up to this year we were a -2 throughout the lottery process as far as moving up n down in draft position. We lost another 2 so for the next time we are -4 in the hole 🕳. I hope we aren’t back in the lottery for a loooong time but if and when, we are owed 4.

Players in the 4-8 range are so close, does it really matter that much?

One of these players will be much better than the others. If he is no longer on the board, we can’t get him. If there is a surge in demand for a player and a team comes trying to trade, they trade with the team on the clock not one two spots down. It can matter a lot.
