Yep, I think he has no confidence in BK to have us out of the lottery in year 2 after this trade..... feels we may lose a 4 5 or 6 pick.....at some point we need to start adding through free agency ....u can only have so many young 19-22 year olds.

He has really chopped up BK here....it is basically saying that BK does not know what he is doing.

for what it's worth those guys talked to one of the other owners, and he asked them if they realized the collateral damage of this nonsense, and not getting JJ, and he said that the other owners were "more than aware" of it, and made it sound like the other owners are furious about this

Belkin should know Collangelo want except a 2ndroundpick for JJ. What Belkin should be trying to do is get the future first rounders restructed. Let's say in 2007 instead of being top3 protected be top10 proctected. In 2008 the picks can be top3 or top4 protected.
