  1. I'm glad you posted this so I don't have to. Keep Rose as far away form the young guys as possible. 'Corrosive' isn't a strong enough word to describe the effect he could have on our younger players.
  2. As much as I would like to see Collins, Bembry, and Prince in another game, I just don't see the point. While very entertaining, I don't see them getting better playing against NBA hopefuls. We've seen what we needed to see. Why take the risk for a meaningless game?
  3. Ahhh, the memories. Athletic arrogance at it's finest. ATL needs this type of elite athleticism to get the 'casual' fans engaged. I really hope John Collins can be the guy to get the fans excited about Hawks basketball again. If he can do what he's doing in the Summer League during the regular season, it won't take long.
  4. Collins is a monster! We got some "athletic arrogance" back!
  5. If that's your idea of fun, you're not going to enjoy watching the Hawks for a loooooooong time. That 60 win season was an anomaly.
  6. The Hawks have always done stuff like that even to their own detriment. My stance is if it doesn't benefit the Hawks in some way, don't do it. I don't see these other teams giving the Hawks any breaks on trades and I don't see players giving the Hawks the time of day. I say stop helping these other teams. If we get a player in a trade and he doesn't want to play here, trade him for whatever we can get out of him. As far as Kelly is concerned, he got screwed by the Rockets after the trade, so I can understand why the Hawks are allowing him to audition for other teams in Summer League.
  7. That's right, you get it. If next season is going to be a developmental season, at least play guys with some potential.
  8. OMG!!!!!! We got ourselves a steal!
  9. Bacon and Thornwell were my guys. Dorsey wasn't even on my or anybody else's radar. We have to stop blowing picks.
  10. Ryan Kelly is like a boomerang. He just keeps coming back.
  11. Actually yes they do. At least for the next two seasons.
  12. Yep. And it don't matter. He's the only C we have.
  13. Collins is a stud
  14. Meh, I don't really care about all of these other scrubs. Where's the guys we know will make the team???
  15. So we get nothing out of Crawford? Does this benefit the Hawks in any way?

    GOODBYE THJ!

We don't need any $25 mil 'heroes' next season, or for maybe the next two seasons. I want everyone on the roster to play 'Bud Ball' and give 100%, but I don't want any Bob Suras or Stephen Jacksons on this team. That goes for any guy that's currently on the roster as well. And when I say, "any guy that's currently on the roster", yes, I mean Dennis.
  17. I never said 'tanking' was the answer. I'm not saying we should go full Hinkie. The Hawks simply can't compete for anything significant as they currently are, or were. We can argue about it all we want on the internet, but that doesn't change the reality that the Hawks have no other choices. There are ZERO alternatives if they want any chance at a Championship. ZERO. Now if our only goal is to remain capped out with a team full of 'others' and not make it past the 2nd Round, then by all means we should maintain the course we were on.
  18. We literally have no other choice. Top tier free agents won't come here and we struggle to 'win' any trades we make. Even some no name Euro elected to sign a multi year deal overseas rather than sign with the Hawks. The Draft and player development are the only paths left to improving this team. It's time to embrace The Process. My only regret is that the Hawks started 1-2 seasons later than they should have.
  19. Fixed. This should be proof enough that the ONLY way to build this team is through the Draft.
  20. "Not if I have anything to say about it"
