2006 ATLANTA HAWKS SUMMER LEAGUE ROSTER

11 Esteban Batista F/C 6-10 270 09/02/83 Uruguay 1

12 Cedric Bozeman G 6-6 207 03/07/83 UCLA R

13 Brandon Dean G 6-1 200 11/21/81 Arkansas R

54 John Edwards C 7-0 275 07/31/81 Kent State 2

16 Anthony Grundy G 6-3 185 04/15/79 North Carolina State 1

44 Solomon Jones F 6-10 230 07/16/84 South Florida R

30 David Moss G 6-5 195 09/09/83 Indiana State R

32 Ricky Shields G 6-4 190 07/27/82 Rutgers R

20 Salim Stoudamire G 6-1 186 10/11/82 Arizona 1

24 Marvin Williams F 6-9 228 06/19/86 North Carolina 1

33 Shelden Williams F 6-9 250 10/21/83 Duke R

HEAD COACH: Mike Woodson (Indiana ’80)

It appears that Woody has his big point guard in Cedric Bozeman. Royal Ivey's days are numbered. Bozeman started at point guard for UCLA prior to tearing his knee last year which lead to Farmar starting this season. Bozeman has a shot to make this team due to his defense on the perimeter. Sort of like a Eric Snow type.

The funny thing about this team is that John Edward will probably average less than 3 minutes a game on a summer league team and he make $1 mil per season

good call.

On NBATV

MONDAY, JULY 24

ATL vs. UTA

TUESDAY, JULY 25

ATL vs. DAL

WEDNESDAY, JULY 26

SAS vs. ATL

THURSDAY, JULY 27

ATL vs. SEA

SATURDAY, JULY 29

UTA vs. ATL

So our last game against Philly is the only one that won't be broadcast. I don't get why they don't show these live

I read somewhere ??? that he has put on weight and bulked up. Anyone here that. That would be very nice to see. He will mature into his body much like Josh Smith.

I've heard the optimism about Boseman, but he seems like a real darkhorse to me. If he did make it, you'd wonder if he wouldn't spend time in the D league.

Interesting that there are 6 guards on the team and only 5 players for the forwards and center positions. Looks like the plan is for Marvin and Shelden to get a lot of playing time.

typical screwd up unbalanced Hawks team. LOL we can't even field a Summer League team.
