The Atlanta Hawks (18-24) will attempt to stop the West Coast bleeding tonight against the Nets. New Jersey (19-26) will be playing the 2nd of a back to back set against the Hawks and Heat with Jason Kidd publicly demanding a trade. Wow. What a mess. Hopefully Atlanta can get back on track tonight, the Hawks are 12-9 at home this season.

On this note. I'm not attacking what Hotlanta posted I'm just using it to illustrate the following 2 points.

1. Thread participation has declined significantly since the Hawks went into the pooper. I understand that is to be expected.

2. I do these things because I enjoy them. Well I don't enjoy being negative on the Hawks. Hopefully they'll turn it around soon but when I'm counting down the games until Woody gets fired it takes some of the fun out of it.

I owed this one to somebody who had sent me some pictures.

i've participated less on hawksquawk because all the negativity here annoys me...we are still making the playoffs this year...we are still not contending until our guys mature and we get a new coach...the sky is still not falling...horford is still the rightful ROY

I've been pretty negative - hard not to be. But it's mostly because the Hawks seem to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. The big majority of us want us to win tonight though....I sure do.

I'm not that optimistic right now but we gotta keep pluggin.
