Rasho Nesterovic might be the best of the bunch obviously behind Jermaine O'Neal

Highlighting a few points and players:

Jermaine O'Neal might be interesting to just keep him from MIA.

Channing Frye probably has the most upside.

I believe Petro and Swift were both drafted by our current GM.

Magloire is probably the type of player we need.

However, I think my targets would be Steven Hunter or Jerome James.

Nothing good!!! I would say the only one that might fit is Jermaine O'neal. Even then i would like to wait for next summer when the real talent will be available... Yao Ming, Memo Okur, Marcus Camby, Shaq, ilgauskas... what?!

He is one of my favorite ones on the list. I did not even know he was a FA. I thought he was a 1st round pick but he obviously was a 2nd rounder since he is a FA after only 2 years in Chicago.

Big physical bruiser with limited athletic ability. He would be a perfect fit for us. We need a guy to go in their bang and he is made for that. Solid bench big with real size.

F/C Oberto (I believe he was recently released by Det?)

F Kris Humphries (he is likely going to be released by Dallas or available by trade)

F/C Josh Boone (he is likely available by trade from NJ)

F/C Jorge Garbajosa (I read somewhere that former Raptor wants to play state side again)

F/C Shellhead (I think he is an unrestricted FA now)

Without considering price tag, I think all of these guys would improve out frontcourt depth.

Id be looking hard at Frye due to his age and potential. He didnt get many minutes in Portland but I remember him being pretty good for the knicks . He has a jumpshot ,can make his free throws and is pretty mobile for a big.

After that Id have to look at Rasho for his experience factor and then Aaron Gray for the occasional spot minutes banging.

I would grab Josh Boone in a heartbeat if he could be gotten. I like Oberto too.

Rasho could be the 5th big because he is a defender and shot blocker whereas Zaza is the rebounder and Channing would be the scorer in off the bench for our frontcourt. Not sexy but unsexy benches are what playoff calibre benches tend to get by on.

If we can't get Rasho I am sold on Frye. He looks like a David Andersen with better defense and a better rebounder.

Frye shoots the 3 at a respectable percentage for a big (33%).

He can really spread the floor for us, and best of all get Josh out of the 3 point line.

F Ike Diogu (undersized but strong 4 that is unrestricted FA)

F/C Chris Wilcox (athletic 4/5 tweener)
