Joker
I don't really like to use one on one matchups as a sole basis for gauging who's better, but they do tell alot. That being said, go back and actually watch Smith play against Love, Griffin and Aldridge. He couldn't guard any of them.Love v. Joker
Love took per36 almost 20 shots and scored 23 points. Smith 17 shots to score 22 and his defensive numbers stand out. The blocks on Love which always gets Love is he isn't that great on the block regardless of his massive move-set.

EazyRoc
Because blocking shots is for NBA2K12 and is not defense. Its like a steal at best. 1.8 steals aint shit and do not get you on a all defensive or all NBA team. His blocking out and offensive rebounding suck. Now add in his piss poor offense and you have a player who looks great once every five games and very average for the rest.Defensive Win Shares. Griffin and Smith were close.LA was +3.9 while Josh was -3.9. I don't really consider that close. Griffin and Smith were indeed essentially equal. No need to try and be disingenuous with your stats to try and prove your point. There are too many people here who will catch things like that to get away with it. Joker
I'm not talking about what team won or lost. I'm talking about actually watching him guard those guys. He got ripped. Period.Griffin always get the best of us. He is an offensive talent, he can score at will even without a go to move. Love is much better with Rubio. Rubio create a lot of open looks and favorable positions for Love. I didn't see what was so special when LMA played Smith. If LMA won the match-up, the team defense Smith played was critical as well which goes back to my point. We all know all four of these guys are extremely talented but why give credit to just them and not Smith. What he is doing is special as well. He is the only player since KG in 04 to have the numbers he had this year.In all fairness, there probably isn't a PF in the game capable of stopping Blake.
