Premium Member Sothron Posted October 30, 2012 Premium Member Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 Kyrlo Fesenko is supposedly working out with the Hawks today. I don't know if that means Petro's back injury is something to be concerned over as a third string center but this may be why we didn't keep D. James. Blunt91
I thought Kyrlo signed a non-guareenteed deal with the Bulls 3 or 4 weeks ago.
Kimsey
He apparently didn't stick with the bulls. Wonder how the initial interaction with Zaza would be like.
Moderators macdaddy Posted October 30, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 I wonder if Petro will get bought out if this happens. Isn't back injury just code for we don't want you on the floor.
HawkItus
Didn't we work him out a season or so back? I think Houston might release Cole Aldrich. I wouldn't mind giving him a look.
ATLSmith
Had to look him up on Youtube. Looks like he has a decent post game. See move against Nene at 35 seconds. Kinda mugs Smoove from behind at 1:51, but Smoove had just mugged the Jazz PG so no call.

Gray Mule
Apparently, Petro isn't the answer. If we can shed him with an injury settlement, so be it. Watching the film here, this is a big, wide load body who just might fit in as our #3 center. With all our speed zip, we also sometimes need that big bruiser to help Johnson. Could this be him? Season openers tonight!! We don't get to play yet, but we will have something solid to post about as these NBA players get it on for real now. GO HAWKS!!! PaceRam
Sounds like Fesenko could be an excellent signing for the Hawks! I hope they can reach an agreement with him!

Swatguy
Denver has three center prospects, we should look there.
Kimsey
Yeah I think KK would be a great fit in Den. for one of their foreign centers. We need a big 7 footer to deal with Bynum, Nene, chandler, lopez, monroe, hibbert, etc.
MaceCase
The only C that Denver would make available is Mozgov and that's mostly due to him being up for a new contract at the same time as Lawson. They just resigned McGee and Koufas who happens to be their starter, then add in that Dwight just got added to the team that knocked them out last playoffs and I'd say they are perfectly fine with holding on to their C depth. hazer
At 7'1 and 290, I'd say his only job is to stand there with his arms up in the air and take up space. Sign him up!
