Not happening. They wouldnt even entertain the idea of trading noah for aldridge. I would be very interested in a package that includes butler though.

Omer Asik would be a good addition. This allows Horford to move to his more natural position, the team has a C that can protect the rim, and rebound. 10 ppg and 11 rpg are great numbers. I don't get the role player label. Detroit built a good defensive team that won a championship with Ben Wallace who was piss poor on offense but was great on the defensive end. Bud is a defensive coach and Asik fits the philosphy.

Thibs really hated losing Asik. It's probably too much to hope for, but you never know.

The smart move is to suck the life out of your conference foe and just sign Howard outright. If you are going to send a good player somewhere, always, if possible send him to the opposite conference.
