When it comes down to Teague, the Hawks have to:

My bad, it's like you all are one person aside from Diesel who style is highly different than anyone on here.

Its cool. At the end of the day we are all Hawks fans and want whats best for this team. We all just have different opinions on how to do that but thats what blogs are for.

Your cool man. This is just us giving our opinions. I can't bitch about Jeff forever even if matched. Other can't bitch about Dennis forever either if Jeff isn't.

I am still trying to figure out what Watchman expected from Dennis. We all knew coming in he was raw with a lot of talent to boot. Whoever we draft next year with even a top 7 pick will be raw as well.

I knew he'd be raw, I just thought he'd be able to defend better and to drive and score. He was a very good passer, and he did well with the pick and roll.

While also being outplayed himself by every scrub PG in league? FYI, in 61 games Marvin had 10, 20 point or more games during his contract year including one 30 point performance. Jeffrey had 19, 20 point or more games in 80 games, no 30 point performances.

Furthermore, I will present this YET again since Diesel enjoys player comparisons.

Yea, I'm really not seeing how he's distanced himself from Marvin comparisons.

Heck, let's even compare them over their first 4 seasons:

Great diversion Mace. I guess that 8 million figure really links Teague (a PG playing the hardest position to master to Marvin a dime a dozen SF playing the easiest position on the court.). Or maybe it's because they are both Hawks?

This is why your comparison is not respected.

However, how about a 2nd year starting Teague and a 2nd year starting Parker??

Would you say that was apples to apples?

Are you out your damn mind boy. He got to the basket at will. Did he finish well, hell naw but that takes time to learn and adjust. An oversized Ty Lue? Yeah, you on some bullshit. I am done with you. Diesel, you have company on the ignore list. NJHAWK been saying too much silliness.

He got to the basket... and then what. In the first he dished. Then the CLipps SL team wised up and played the dish and that's when we started seeing him underhanding the ball against the bottom of the goal (not the rim), but the backboard. Right now, on the break, three on one.. he's tremendous. Right now, with a wide open man, zinging a pass to him, he's good. However, getting to the basket... he can drive.. but he has nothing after that. It will take time to develop that part of his game.. or a pull up.

In case you missed it, PGs are a dime a dozen these days. The league is overpopulated with them so I question the validity behind it "being the hardest position to master" when any combo with a pulse can lace up and play. Your comparison is not respected because you are trying to draw apples and apples between a 24 and a 20 year old. Bravo, I'm sure Teague has as much development and potential left in him as guys that were 2-4 years younger than him, he should be solidifying himself as one of the best players in the league right around age 34.

My goodness.. where do you get this foolishness? There are many guys who line up as PGs.. but they are not that. That doesn't mean that the position is overpopulated or that it's not the hardest to master.

Here's the top 20 PG in the NBA.

When you say easily mastered... point to one of these guys.. and then we'll talk about the other 10 teams.
