Admin
Hill is a 4/5. Actually he's more of a 27
GameTime
Why do people think Ariza will cost too much? I'd be willing to bet you he signs for at least 2 million less than Hawes gets. Ariza is a good player but he's a career journeyman and he's not gonna all of a sudden get a huge pay day at this age. He is looking for a raise from 8 million. Not worth it for a 3D player that can't dribble.

He can hope for a raise but I highly doubt he gets it. He made 7.2 this year and I'd say at best he gets 9 million with 2-3 years but I'd bet he's more likely to get around 8. hazer
Hill is my favorite of this bunch. Wouldn't need Antić or Brand anymore, could bring over Bebe as 3rd C.

I really don't see hawes being all that expensive but if he does get a crazy offer as much as I want him I don't agree with the hawks giving him a crazy high paying contract to match other team offers. And he's also probably cheaper than Hawes and Ariza.

NBASupes
Bring on the average players... Woo!!!! Ariza is too expensive as well. I rather we trade up to develop a player at SF. Hawes seems like an option. He shouldn't cost more than 6-7 mil and he stretches the court and can actually play NBA center.

Ariza is the best 3 and D specialist SF in the NBA.

If Ariza is as much as you guys think he will be, around 9-11 mil then I say we pass. Same goes for hawes...as much as I would like to add him to our big man rotation if we can't get him for 6-8 mil then we just have to pass. Now I don't see Ariza or hawes making over 8mil but this is the nba where crazy things happen. Hill on the other hand probably can be had for 4-5 mil, I think. Oh and yes bring on the average players that fit the team and will look like very good players once put in coach buds system! Woooo!!! Naw, Centers are paid on their defensive presence more than not. If you lack it, you better be a great offensive player like Lopez. If you lack that, you will be seen as a rotational center which is what Hawes clearly is. If Hawes is your center, you don't have a legit starting center. Not sure why you don't see Ariza getting 10-11 mil. The best 3&D player at a vital position where players aren't plentiful and you need someone for PG, Melo, Durant, and Bron. If he was a PG or a PF, I would agree but a SF, teams will pay. Edited May 22, 2014 by nbasupes40retired

Ehh what now? You think he's a better 3 and D SF than either Danny Green or Kawhi Leonard? Cause I would easily take either over Ariza and not look back. He is better than Hayward.

Well hawes isn't coming here to start I just want him in the rotation as I like the idea of keeping the floor spreaded with our bigs bad getting another slasher by Teague . However if we could add hill too and just cut Pero and let brand walk. I think we would have one of the better big man rotations in the nba. I would like to see how that works out before bringing over bebe.

It's kinda like the center position in the nba really, not a ton of good centers. No wonder Loul Deng is demanding 13m...his agent knows there aren't many good SFs to choose from. With that said if ferry and crew don't plan to draft one the gamble to pay big for a younger sf like Ariza may take place.
