I hate it for him as this will likely cost him a whole lot of money. This will hurt us as well since it takes a top wing out of the free agent pool. The price for butler and the other guys just went up some because of this injury.

Absolutely sucks for Matthews.  @JETSET is onto something too regarding the wing FA market.  The price DMC could command just went up.

That Aaron Afflalo trade is looking exceptional now. He can move into the starting lineup, but it sets them back with a weaker bench.

Whelp, that's the nail in the championship coffin for Portland. Hate it for Matthews and wish him a speedy recovery, but maybe this'll drive down his price so that the Hawks can steal him for the bench.
