Ugh ... Idiots should not have been out ... so irresponsible

 

Oh please - they are on a different schedule and they are grown men. They could be out to 6am and still get 8 hours of sleep - get a good meal - watch some TV - and be on-time for the shoot-around at (probably) 5:30pm or so.

Should they have stuck to the Hotel bar and listened to Mick and the Magic Tones?

The fact that they were "out" is silly. They didn't have to be at work in the morning.

For a snapshot, the Hawks were 11.4 points per 100 possessions better this season (per Basketball-Reference) when Thabo Sefolosha was on the court, and his absence will be felt. Atlanta will turn to some combination of Kent Bazemore and, potentially, Shelvin Mack in his stead, but neither can replicate the size and experience of Sefolosha.

Not to mention had the nut with the knife not have been causing trouble none of this would have happened.
