Serg is the picture perfect big for this team. Hes a defensive force, can rebound a little, and still hit 3s.

Don't look now, but Ibaka doesn't even rebound as well as Al.  Much lower assists also.   Pass.

But he's a defensive force. 

Our Center will probably never be a good rebounder just because of the scheme we play.

He's fallen off quite a bit recently, don't know if it's scheme or injuries, but if you're looking for a poorman's current Horf, sure.  They play a similar way with Baka having more aggressiveness but less IQ.

Also, Ibaka did that being a 3rd scorer at BEST for OKC.

Serge will also be looking to be paid next offseason as well.

Ibaka is a great example of a big man that should have stayed in the low post and developed there. The more he's drifted to shoot jumpers the worse he's become.

Trade for Ibaka with 21 and the Minny pick, let Horford walk and draft a wing with the 12th, or see if you have anything left to trade to move up further than 12.

I thought Ibaka's knees were damaged goods...........or at the very least he played last season injured, like Teague. Hopefully its not something chronic.

His devolution into a Stretch 4 from a PF/C has been gradual, Al's was overnight.  Difference is he's a pretty smart player, Al is top notch for a Big.

It was interesting listening to Towns interview the top prospects and they asked him who the toughest matchup was for him his rookie season.  I've never been a Marc Gasol fan but Towns made a good case for him being the best C.  It seems like years ago since his name was ringing in the league's consciousness.  I wouldn't be mad if his name came up in Hawks trade talks at all.  Memphis is basically at square one.
