We have to replace Chester. He is a glaring hole at RG. The rest of the OL is solid to good. Defensively I'd like a playmaking FS and another pass rusher to put opposite Beasley.

Its pretty amazing what Mack has truly done for our line. One different starter not counting tight end of course and we are a playoff caliber team as opposed to a team that couldn't handle a snap or any inside blitz ever last season. Our guards have less incoming traffic to deal with because of him. A much safer place for Matt these days.

He should be DPOY

The next three games may win that campaign for him. Truly a feel good story for Falcon fans and for a craft we have so obviously been missing for years.

Hoping we will look back and view Wes as the O-line steal of the draft. From some quotes by them he has been showing coaches that our scouting was really on their game. Nobody knew who the heck he is. Think he'll really pay off.

I hope so. The only times our run game is off or pressure is on Ryan is because of Chester. He's the only weak link on our O line.

Think that Levitre really owes his next quality contract directly to Mack. He was really bad last year with holds and whiffs without Mack next to him and this year he's been pretty good. With that thinking I'm hoping for real growth from Wes lining up next to Alex and our line being in tack from that point on. Possibly ready by sometime next year anyway.

Something for the NFL to get used to. Matt Ryan to Austin Hooper for the TD. A really nice future for those two moving forward. A very nice play just now as a glaring example. Go Falcons with those black jerseys and all.

This offense is absolutely ridiculous. No Julio and they score 40 in back to back games lol. Free and Teco looked like they were having a competition with each other all day....big play by one followed by a big play from the other. Beautiful thing when they're running like that. Beasley with another one and we had a Hageman sighting. Great game Falcons

This was posted over at the Falcoholic. Interesting stats.  By the way we played in Seattle and the Pats played them at home. Both stadiums have plenty of home cooking so a little extra interesting info there.

1a. Tom Brady @ Denver: 188 yds, 0 TD, W 16-3

1b. Matt Ryan @ Denver: 267 yds, 1 TD, W 23-16

2a. Tom Brady vs. LA Rams: 269 yds, 1 TD, W 26-10

2b. Matt Ryan @ LA Rams: 237 yards, 3 TD W 42-14

3a. Tom Brady @ SF: 280 yards, 4 TD, W 30-17

3b. Matt Ryan vs. SF: 286 yards, 2 TD, W 41-13

4a. Tom Brady vs. Seattle: 316 yards, 1 int, L 24-31

4b. Matt Ryan @ Seattle: 335 yards, 3 TD, 1 int, L 24-26

4 similar games. Both QBs went 3-1 beating the same teams. Here’s their total stats for these games:

Tom Brady: 1,053 yards, 5 TD, 1 Int, 96-61

Matt Ryan: 1,125 yards, 9 TD, 1 Int, 130-69

TOM BRADY BAHSTUN RULES! mentality

Two things you can always count on the last few years in the NFL. Seahawks always get more than the benefit of a doubt from the refs on both offense and defense and the Pats are definitely the protege of the CIA.

Brady doesn't have a statistical advantage (even on a per game basis), he missed 4 games, his team went 3-1 with the 2nd and 3rd string QBs in those 4 games, and he has the #1 scoring defense. There's no way Brady should be ahead at this point, but Ryan still needs to finish strong (and 2-0). I don't expect the Panthers or Saints to be pushovers so he should get all 4 quarters to work with unlike the last two weeks.

Couldn't agree more and as you said Matt has four more games on his resume. Pretty people sure are popular in the no fun league though so there is that. Man alive.

@jy23 I'm thoroughly frightened now. You are oh so close. You just need 1 win and you have 2 games to do it. Fun bet, specially if it goes down to the final week.

Question...do you think y'all are better without megatron or is it just one of those things where everything is clicking for you all this year inspite of him not being there?
