Trae to me is a combination of Isiah Thomas (OG), Steve Nash and Mike Bibby.

Mike Bibby? Why do you say Bibby? Only thing I see them two having in common is they shoot threes

Bibby was one of the best floor general ever. He wasn't the creative passer Trae is but Bibby made everyone better by knowing everything. Where his teammates liked the ball, their strengths, being a coach on the floor. I used to say, the best trade we made was for Bibby. Old af and couldn't move but he was the coach on the floor, getting everyone into the right sets, organizing shit, getting everyone efficient looks, he could play at any pace, he was super special even when he was limited. Every team got better because of Mike Bibby till the wheels completely fell off.

For the record, my objection wasn't drafting Trae, it was the report that ownership may have overuled the front office. That being said, I think it was a collaboration, not a dispute.
