Johnson clearly should have been a top 5-10 pick in this Draft. I really hope the "character" issues were overblown because he looks legit. He's showing flashes of a guy that can come in and contribute on day one.

Jalen's handle is much better than I expected. He's bringing the ball up with pressure.  

Sharife looks great. Half his turnovers are because teammates aren't ready for the pass when they clearly should be. 

Rooks look great!

Hell I was excited before the game.  Its the flashes the rooks are showing.  It's a good thing for them to flash in this setting.

Look.  I'm not gonna even sit here and pretend I'm anywhere near a talent expert on basketball.  I do have a eye though and I've been right on every Travis pick except Bruno and to a degree, Hunter. (that shows you I'm not a expert.) I knew they were good picks. I saw the talent in Huerter early. That being said, this Jalen Johnson dude.  Thats a top pick talent. How in the heck those GM's had this dude slide might be come out to be like Bowie over Jordan.  The dude has that kind of talent.  I know its early, but I've seen enough.  Forget G League, he is a automatic on the Hawks bench.

Jalen is looking healthy out there. I don't think he was healthy at Duke.  He had some good dunks but he's really getting up in summer league.
