Tend to agree. As a rule. I disagreed with the trade. And refuse to believe the company line that's emerged that it had nothing to do with the sale of the team. It's long been conventional wisdom that if you're selling your team, buyers prefer to have as little on the books as possible, in order to maximize their financial posture.

 

But then again, what are  you saying?

You really are suggesting we measure a trade by the best prospect's first game? Or even by his first few games? Or even, truly, his first couple of months?
