True.  However ... and it's a big but (huh?), I must admit when I first read his post I didn't think it was a DJ deal that was "close".  Just that it was a deal .. that happened to be with NYK.

Yeah he's had a knee issue for a little while now so, of course, he'd fit right in.  We trading our starting guard and closer for a bench player with an injury history.  Sounds about right.

Yeah.  NYK might use him as a point of attack guy but  I’m not really on the Grimes train.  Maybe this opens the door for KB and it all pans out.  Would’ve rather they weaned him in while DJ is here.  Not sure how they think they are going to account for the lost production right away.
