Premium Member Sothron Posted December 10, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 They need to remove fan voting. McGrady and Iverson have more votes than Joe Johnson. I don't even have to say more than that.

AUhawksfan
Also take into account a lot of the international voting that goes on. They always seem to be behind at least 2-3 years with who are the current stars in the league. I remember Grant Hill getting voted in as a starter well after his prime. coachx
They need to remove fan voting. McGrady and Iverson have more votes than Joe Johnson. I don't even have to say more than that. The most shocking to me was the amount of votes Gilbert Arenas has at 3rd place among Eastern SGs. How does a guy like him have such a huge fan following ? Bargani seems to have way more votes then he deserves too but that is rather common when it comes to players from other countries countries. MVP23
Allen Iverson has more votes than Joe, Al, and Josh....this is garbage. All this is a a popularity contest...if Yao was on the ballot, I bet my left nut he would have over 1 million votes by now..
Moderators AHF Posted December 10, 2009 Moderators Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 (edited) The McGrady and Iverson votes are especially shameful given how little they have played. That said, the game is an exhibition for the fans so if they really want someone to be a starter it doesn't torque me too much. MrRyda
I don't get the McGrady thing. Are those just votes from pissed off chinese people that can't vote for Yao? Hell, I refuse to believe that Tracy McGrady is still alive. I haven't seen that dude in like 3 years.

Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted December 10, 2009 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 Pretty much what I expected... What happened to NBA fans?? Back in the 90´s it wasn't this bad. The average NBA fan today seems to be totally ignorant about what is going on in the league.
