GameTime
He is not a difference-maker anymore. Millsap and Horford are much better at this moment. We need a top wing, if not, let's offer him a one year deal like we did with Brand. If he wants more, just pass. I disagree. And so does the rest of the league. He was a bad fit for D'Antoni's offense.

noble
The future free agency. Oh the one where we go after big names to get turned down and then sold on having flexibility?
Premium Member BrazilianHawk Posted July 12, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) Ferry is putting forth an effort. Pau not coming though We don't know that. Spurs probably can't offer the same $$$. We would be serious ECF contenders with Gasol; Edited July 12, 2014 by BrazilianHawk
Ebert
I disagree. And so does the rest of the league. He was a bad fit for D'Antoni's offense. Maybe off the bench, but not as a main player of their team. He is not that Pau of 2010
Goots
All of you that keep harping on maintaining flexibility and not overpaying make no sense. Maintain flexibility for what if you can't even sign a top tier player?
JTB
Please get gasol! That would atleast get me excited for next year
Ebert
Oh the one where we go after big names to get turned down and then sold on having flexibility? I thought that we signed an All-Star last year and a starter.. At least if you have the money, you have opportunities, even if it's 1%, but if you don't have the money, you have 0% of chances... RWF
Make an offer to Lance, Ferry! Gasol isn't guarding Lebron.
GameTime
Maybe off the bench, but not as a main player of their team. He is not that Pau of 2010 Teams (OKC, Chicago, SA) want him to start/play 30 minutes a game.

RWF
We can make Indy weaker, while improving us with one signing. DMC is. When he comes off the bench.

GameTime
We struggled getting buckets inside last year. Pau/Horf inside is a lot to handle. Factor in Millsap.... it is a wrap Edited July 12, 2014 by GameTime
Admin capstone21 Posted July 12, 2014 Admin Report Share Posted July 12, 2014 Gasol would be a great get. I don't see him coming here though He would be a great compliment to Horford. I think it will spell the end of Sap as a Hawk. He would likely be traded for a swing man
RWF
I'd want Gasol. He isn't coming though. I would be shocked. Millsap would have to be traded.
yungsta
I cant see him signing him. I predict he will go to the spurs or the bulls (depending on the melo situation).
Ebert
Teams (OKC, Chicago, SA) want him to start/play 30 minutes a game. I don't know where you got that information that he would play 30 minutes per game... I doubt he plays 30 minutes in San Antonio where even Parker doesn't Pau may have played more professional games than 99% of the league (I mean, except Kobe and someone else) and has had a lot of injuries... wherever he goes he should get limited minutes at least in the Regular Season
Plainview1981
Players don't want to come to Atlanta and you guys mad at the GM. LMAO I'm mad at Ferry because he keeps thinking he can win the FA game and he can't. When he strikes out, he will try again next year instead of shipping off the pieces and rebuilding. DrReality
With so few FA we have to overpay if we get one. Spurs can't offer nearly that much. ? Pitch is he's out Duncan for Spurs east
