Why is John Jenkins still on this team?

Jenkins looked bad on the defensive end. He actually looked like he just came back from injury.

Dennis looked good at the PG position. He still needs to work on finishing and that jump shot

Edy looked better than i thought he would. Has potential. Needs a big man to mentor him, once he gets a feel for the game he will be good.

Mike needs to stop with threes. I did love that dunk attempt though. Look really aggressive there.

Patterson look good. Nothing about him really stood out to me though

Payne came to play. Very aggressive from the beginning.

I think Muscala is going to do very well in Budz offense. He's got the ability to hit the shot and make the pass which will be very handy for the second time.

So he has to be Al Horford to be considered a good pick???  He was the best player available and he will be a very good player.

Not sure. I paid $4.99 to get summer league access online. I think they do highlights in the NBA Game Time app which is free. Try that.

Yep I'm sure that Jenkins is being held back by his recovery but even healthy he's not the same level of athlete and all around player that Patterson is. 

I agree man. Jenkins can contribute to us when healthy as a 3 point specialist but maaaaaan I really like what I see out of Patterson. I'm assuming you saw the game today? He looked good!

 

Before anyone else takes my words out of context, I am not saying that Patterson is the chosen one that we will make a superstar out of, but I'm saying that he's a great two way player. A very well rounded player who can do multiple things whether it be pass the ball, shoot, slash, or play good defense.

I'm calling it now that Jenkins will lose his roster spot to Patterson. Patterson is light years better defensively and can actually be a real good defender as a rookie. He can also knock down the 3 and has good size. 

 

That's 1.3 Million dollars.

I'm betting that Ferry does everything he can to find a trade.

A better question is why isn't Glen Rice Jr. on this team?  With Jenkins as an asset and us buying picks in the second round....Rice was sitting there for the taking.  Rice is going to be the player in 5 years that ESPN talks about GMs missing on.

rice was lighting up jenkins, it was obvious jenkins hasnt adjusted to pace of game yet. But back issues for a jump shooter doesnt bode well, will be tough to find a buyer for him.

 

Patterson seemed in control, steady pace not playing fast or hyper. He got several deflections and steals, looked good overall.

Let's give Jenkins until the end of the summer league. Bud can do wonders with this guy if he is healthy. I hope jenks steps it up!
