Payne has Plantar Fascitis

Just got an update from bleachers report that he is ruled out for tomorrow's game due to plantar fasciitis. Not a good start for the rook

I really hope this doesn't haunt him all season. I was really looking forward to him getting worked into the rotation.

a good trainer can wrap that up and make it feel pretty good IF he needs to play . The Hawks simply dont need him so they are giving him rest.

My dad has plantar fasciitis and he has to wear a boot that keeps his foot stretched out throughout the night. It seems pretty tolerable as long as you take care of it correctly.

Yep - I remember TD had it, Pau had it, Noah had it - that's all I can remember off hand.

Pretty minor injury. But it does hurt like a bitch to put pressure on. Playing with it would be like playing with a cramp - impossible.

I would say we need his rebounding.

lets put it this way - I play rugby where its nonstop running - I taped up and was fine to plant and drive off my foot.  When I said they dont need him  they have players that right now are better and can do much of the same thing so they are going to get him well before putting him out there. If he was at this point essential to their success they would have him out there.
