Guest
Tiago Splitter on the block? According to multiple league sources, the Spurs have made center Tiago Splitter available for trade, in hopes of shedding from the books the $8.5 million he is due next season. Trade, Tiago Splitter, San Antonio Spurs

DJlaysitup
Well, would be a good replacement for Pero. Can he shoot off of one foot?
GrimeyKidd
I read a report that they decline to trade him
RandomFan
Wonder if that means they think they have the inside track on LMA? They've been saying all offseason he's not on the block, and now change their mind. Also, for us I would only be interested if we strike out with LMA and Gasol, and are also unable to bring back Millsap.
Alex
Wanted Splitter two years ago I think. Whenever he was a free agent. Still would like him, but his price tag is a little high.

Premium Member BrazilianHawk Posted June 30, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 30, 2015 I wish we could afford him, but I'd be happy if we went after Jordan Hill at some point, provided we lose out on Gasol and Millsap. I would think LMA is probably going to SA, as mentioned above by @RandomFan.

True, but the Lakers aren't picking up their option, so I guess JHill will be a FA? We could somehow get him to sign for a bit less, who knows? DJlaysitup
"...that $9 million price tag." true, but since I'm not paying the bills, I don't really care. It's an expensive league. If our new ownership could figure out/finagle a way to keep our core + get Splitter...that would be a pretty serious talent upgrade.

If he's cleared to start the season, he'll start. But I see reduced minutes. Edited June 30, 2015 by JayBirdHawk
