Uno is also popular in our house.  Spiderman Uno was received for Christmas by one of the kids so it has been in the rotation with its extra super-powered ways to #$#** over your sibling/parent/child.

So if you can't play a card do you guys pick cards until you get one you can play or do you just pick one and go to the next player.   I've played both ways but the first way can cause a game to go on forever.

We do the second.  With 1 or more young kids playing, we don't need the games to go forever!

That's a sick game of Uno, supersizing the deck with Draw 4s, Reverses, Skips, and Draw 2s from other decks. Come to think of it, I have an extra pack of Uno cards and the kids wanted to play this Friday after school is out. Hmm...

I bought the UNO attack machine for her for Christmas. That thing is dangerous. It can spit out 1 card, 6 cards or more. 11 was the most I got.

We play cutthroat Uno. Keep drawing until you can play. 

And another wrinkle: if you lay a draw 2 (or wild draw 4), and the next player has a draw 2, they can lay that down so the next person has to draw 4, unless they have a draw 2 and lay that down so the next up has to draw 6, and so on down the line.

Never thought about adding extra draw cards, skips, and reverses to the deck, but we used to play like this when we were young.  It's definitely the best way to play Uno.

I had to draw 26 one time.  I can't imagine having to draw 50.  That had to be hilarious.

Hawks need to have an UNO Fan Challenge during a game at Half Time. Then in the offseason  something with the players.

We do the same with the cascading draws.  Sucks to end up with a draw 12!
