Hawks odds in the east

Despite being the 5th seed...we have the lowest odds to come out of the east...thanks Vegas!

$100 to win $6000...those are pretty good odds in my opinion...long shot obviously but ya never know.

Makes sense.  All the other teams can hit the three or have a dominant wing.  Let the numbers tell it (and the eyes too, hell) this team doesn't have an advantage anywhere.

They force a low shooting percentage, only to be below average from the field and three themselves.  They rarely foul, but turn around and shoot poorly from the line.  They force a gang of turnovers, which gets gunned down in the streets by the rival gang of turnovers they commit.

My math suggests that if I cut out five pizzas and two bottles of red from my diet I could pony that up. How much to win "a brand new car" in Monty Hall's announcer Jay Stewart's voice.

Lol, The Mizzies trying to convert me.  I'm holding on strong.

Outside of Junior's ascendance there wasn't anything to get me hyped about this season.  Dennis shot well, Sap was Sap, and Dwight was efficient.  Ho hum.

Had we moved Baze to the moon and Sap to LA I'd be looking at a nice ticket package next year.  Now I'm just holding out a little hope the Bulls will entertain the Butler deal again.

Realize this: Vegas odds are all about who's betting for which team and how much they're betting. It's really just public opinion and dangling a carrot to entice money to move in a different direction.

5 pizzas and 2 bottles of wine for $100? Damn... that's a great deal where are you living. That would cost me roughly $200...pizza 5X $30...wine 2X$25....:-|

Bay Area ...sucks...well, the weather is nice but weather is doing it for me anymore lol...and I only get pepperoni and mushrooms on it. To be fair though it's pretty good pie...best I've had in northern Cali...

Thats a slice from there and a man who thinks it ok to take a leak in the back so they bant him like @kg01..

Best pie hands down..tho I've never had REAL ny pie.

Great.  Now i'm starving.

If ur ever in the South Bay you need to hit it up...unless you've lived in NY or Chicago, this could be the best I've ever had. Then again I like it think and crisp...I hate deep dish Chicago fatty style pie.

I live in Santa Cruz and I can attest to what you are saying.  The pizza out here is freakin expensive but oh so delicious.

P.S.  Where do you bet?  I definitely wanna drop 100 at those odds.

Not surprising, because if you look at overall point differential, the Hawks have the worst one in the eastern playoffs, likely the playoffs period. I don't have the time so I can't look up how bad, but by point differential the Hawks were like the 11th best team in the East.

538 says the Hawks have a 20% chance of winning their first round series, and this is something that goes on analytics. It's worse than series like the Pacers and Cavaliers.

If you break it down overall though, guys that look at things through analytics in a decade or two are not going to understand how the Hawks went 43-39 this year. Two stretches of 3-19 combined with several massive blowout losses is going to kill your point differential.

Bovada has the Hawks at +5000

Sportsbook has us at +6000

sportsbook>bovada

(I'm still waiting on our series price vs the Wiz...my guess is Wiz -220 Hawks +195)
