Westbrook played like a dummy tonight.

That’s every night.  Adding an All-NBA player and still finishing with virtually the same record as a season before tells you all you need to know about his team IQ.  That and the Thunder would be about 5 points better a night if you swap Carmelo for Roberson.

Wolves are trash, but will make the playoffs.  That schedule down the stretch is laughable.

Trash seems harsh.  They were the 3rd seed in the West when Butler went down and presumably played a harder schedule since they had a bunch of cupcakes yet to come.

I always thought The Wolves benefited from teams like the Thunder, Spurs and at that time the Blazers not playing up to expectation.  They were a decent to slightly above average team with Butler.

They were the 3rd seed in the West before Butler got hurt. Please Jesus let the Hawks get that level of trash soon.

Thibedau is a poor coach.  The Wolves are still bad defensively, have no depth, or consistent shooting from the perimeter.  The Hawks will win just as many playoff series as your beloved Wolves too.

To say T-Wolves are trash is hyperbole. I don’t think teams are trash when they aren’t contenders yet make the playoffs. T-Wolves aren’t a treadmill team either because KAT is a superstar they can build around.

I agree about Thibs taxing starters and that has already harmed careers of some of his past players but he is a decent coach.

Thibs is not a poor coach. He wins, period, almost every year he's been a head coach. He lets his starters play too  many minutes. He has yet to learn that giving KAT as many shots a game as possible should be the plan every game. Those are valid criticisms. Saying he is a poor coach is just silly.

Wolves have depth otherwise they would have folded when Butler went down. Tyus Jones, Crawford, Dieng and Belly are as good as anyone's depth.

It's going to be so fitting to see the Denver Nuggets be the team to knock the Timberwolves out of the playoffs and also knock Atlanta out of getting that pick.  Jokic and Millsap are developing that chemistry.
