I do have a ton of updates for other teams but only one from Atlanta

As of right now, it's a cold war for BI for Murray. 

Atlanta has offered Capela, Murray for BI, Dyson Daniels, and 21. 

NO has no interest in Capela and feel like they NEED OO. Atlanta counter back with Herb Jones which was turned down ASAP.

My belief is Atlanta wants the LA 1st which can be used in 2025 which NO has been reluctant to trade as well. 

I was told they both want to get this done under the 2023-24 cap which gives both teams more flexibility. 

NO has made it very clear, they want OO and see him as integral but Atlanta wants that asset that's LA 1st 2025 because that pick could end up in the lottery next year with no protections and its an excellent trade piece as other stars enter the trade market. 

This one will go down to the wire. Based on what I got, Herb Jones will not be moved.

I haven't heard any draft chatter or other trade chatter about the Hawks. My belief is, once we get around the draft, offers will present themselves that aren't these long term ones like this one.

There is one bit of news I've gotten, Atlanta is looking to stock up for future 1sts. They are very open to moves even including sending JJ home for the right super superstar. There is one player Atlanta is coveting and I am hearing he's not against Atlanta either even if he has Big Apple dreams, they don't have Big assets to appeal. 

Atlanta is going to be active as they already are. I forgot that one because its a long shot at best. He wants to play with a younger cast is what I've gotten and play with a younger PG as well. 

This roster could look a lot different next year outside of Trae.

I don't like the tone of this where it seems like NOP is in the driver seat with everything.

Wording like 'turned down ASAP' or NOP has 'made it clear' they want OO' ....while the Hawks are countering and wants an asset. 

NOP has a player on an expiring they don't want pay. DJ is locked up on a below market deal.

One more thing, the only untouchables I've heard is Bogi. Kobe, and Gueye. Even though Trae and JJ are not untouchables they aren't interested in moving them at all. They see Trae and JJ as foundational building blocks.

They made a previous offer, Atlanta declined it and asked for 21 to be included. 

NO from the jump made it clear they see OO as critical and Atlanta made it clear. They lack far too much trade value for OO and Murray. 

This is normal. They will get serious soon. The combine is coming.

Looks like another summer of a lot of page refreshing.  
I’ve always tried to remind people in spite of his flaws Tony has pulled off bigger moves than any owner of the past 30 years. JJ for Giannis.  Bring it.
