But Supes told me Herb was unavailable when I mentioned him as a target a couple weeks ago. Fact is, there are a number of pieces on the Pels I’d be interested in for the right price. I hope we can get something done

Pelicans are well built, they have a lot of what we need, Id think they would be a little better this year but they should make some good noise in the playoffs this year, even if zion doesnt make it the whole way.

We've seen worse players traded. All it takes is for one team to believe they can fix him.

We don't have the same sources and in general don't speak together first before we share what we've heard. 

My information about the Pels trying to consolidate a trade with us for Murray is recent as in the last week. We tried talking to them about Zion/Ingram in the offseason.

I thought that at first but i think he signed knowing that it would be an easy deal to move and if he did he'd get moved to a playoff team.  So I'm guessing he's good either way.   I bet he'd like to be the primary PG again somewhere.

This. Look at his dad's multiple social media comments about his son playing and defending out of position. DJ came here in good faith but it isn't working. He knows this. Trae knows this. If DJ gets moved it won't cause negative feelings.

Hawks need to worry about fixing this team, not how they look.. They tried, it didnt work.. They probably should tried to fix the bum ass frontcourt first, but whatever....

Absolutely which is why I think it's key that he see and understand this isn't working and it's in his best interest to be in a better position.
