frankthetank966
Regardless of if the Hawks advance to the 2nd round or not, Woodson will get fired. Spectators everywhere blame Woodson for the Hawks failure to compete on the road in the playoffs. He is now 1-10 and got outcoached by Scott Skiles in Game 3 and 4. frankthetank966
If the Hawks ownership are serious about this team remaining an elite team in the East they will fire him. The only reason he has been successful is because of the talent. Imagine what a Phil Jackson or Larry Brown would do with the players the Hawks have on their roster? Its amazing how he still does not know how to utilize certain players.
Dexmethylphenidate
Woody won't be fired this off season. Bank on that.
exodus
I can say with 100% certainty that Woody won't get fired. It isn't even possible for him to get fired, unless the Hawks dump him before this series is over. Edited April 27, 2010 by exodus

Supporter
I can say with 100% certainty that Woody won't get fired. Why?? If they lose this round or next round I don't see how Sund can't fire him. I just hope that there is a suitable replacement.

Premium Member Sothron Posted April 27, 2010 Premium Member Report Share Posted April 27, 2010 This game alone should get Woodson fired. Here's a free coaching tip you bald idiot: The Bucks KNOW you are going to switch EVERY DAMN TIME on Jennings. So we get stuck with a big on Jennings EVERY TIME. We should have trusted Teague enough to trust him with defensive assignments on Jennings at key points during the game to STOP HIM. But no, our bald idiot of a coach never changes, never adjusts, never does anything different.

SMH You can't fire a coach that you don't have under contract.

It isn't even possible for him to get fired, unless the Hawks dump him before this series is over. I still think Woody is safe, just because the ownership problem hasn't been completely settled yet. We're stuck with Woody for another year or so.

Kimsey
Woodson is going to lowball himself into the lowest paid contract which guarantees his foreseeable future in Atlanta.
D.R.P.
Gearon said Woody would be judged on the team's play this postseason. However I would be surprised if ownership was smart enough to not bring Woody back.
hogfulness
Jerry Sloan says just keeping a team together is good for a 4-5 win improvement from one year to the next. Woody has ridden this talent without any real improvements. Every defenciency from 3-4 years ago are unchanged. I've yet to see one single offensive or defensive adjustment yet. Not one. TheTruth
We could lose in the first round and that dude will be brought back. Excuses will flow like the water in the oceans, but he will be brought back. Why? Because he is very affordable, and we won't pay to get a better-than-average coach.
