What if Hawks retain Larry Drew and also draft his son this summer...

I'm not really a LD fan but considering the situation, where this team is positioned right now is still above expectations having only a few guys return from last year. I'm sure Danny Ferry will highly consider giving LD an extension. What if we then draft his son, LD II, at some point during the draft? I have to say I'm not opposed, the kid can ball.

Honestly guys, LD II reminds me a little of Brandon Jennings... a little.

They are nothing a like. I saw him a ton at UNC before his feelings got his hurt about losing his starting job to a superior player and transferred to UCLA.

He is a good passer but he is not a scorer and doesn't even look to score. Polar opposite from Jennings.

His "Princeton" offense has us near the top of the league in three point percentage, assists, and fast break points while our defense has only taken a small step back after losing our best perimeter defender, making us the 5th lowest payroll team in the league fighting for a First Round Homecourt Series. If that ain't coaching WTF is? I'd love to have him back with an All-Star caliber two-way wing and True Center added into the fold with Teague, Al, and Korver.

Those stats prove what the old man has been preaching.

Gotta take and make those free throws.

Look where we are, in both attempts and made %...........

With all the bad, expecting to have a hard time being over 50%

in the won/loss standings, look where we are right now.

Someone sure is doing something right.

I just want vast improvement in our free throws.

GO HAWKS!!

You're kidding me right? LD II couldn't even play in the ACC.

The kids obviously never seen him play..............he compared him to Brandon Jennings for heavens sakes............not that I like Jennings but their playing styles are polar opposites.

I said "A LITTLE LIKE JENNINGS" he has the same physic, both are left handed. Both are quick, only real difference is LD2 is very turnover prone and his shot needs work. So basically not so much the play style but more or less physic.

I'll have to see how he plays in March Madness. It wouldn't hurt to draft him with one of our second round picks and see how he plays in summer league.

It hurts if you unnecessarily use a pick on a guy that could be a free agent. The second round is where some great values emerge if you hit on that lower % pick.
