Player stats don't really mean anything this early, but Teague is definitely off to a great start.

It also helps that he is getting an opportunity to run more offense without certain guys here that think they are a PG.

Give the kid hos props!! This is exactly what I can't stand about this board. You praise your sacred cow in Horford after a good game, why not Teague whose showing a level of consistency and leadership. We have never seen a Hawks starting point guard with those stat lines after two games. All of this opinionated garbage from people that don't watch games is getting real old. Yep Teague has really elevated his game on the offensive end this year. He still struggles defending the PnR but he seems to he showing more effort this far. Very happy with his play and if he keeps it up he will be headed to the AS game.

Your pretty shallow if you don't think Teague is one of the better pg's in the league. I taped the game last night and watched him in particular. His court vision is amazing. There is a lot of things wrong with this team but Teague isn't one of them.

His awareness during a few of his dimes last game were off the charts. If his court vision continues to improve the sky is the limit for Teague.

Teague is indeed bawlin'. But it's necessary to remember that it's only been two games. I'd say that we'll get a real feel for where he is and what his numbers per game will be after about 20 games.

I love the way Teaguer is playing right now. We need it as in NEED that level of aggression by him to attack the basket, open the lanes and get fouled or find a wide open shooter.

20/10 for a whole season is a tall order but looks like he'll be closer to that than the more conservative 15/7 some have said.

You do realize that Teague has shot 21 free throw attemps through 2 games and has also put up 8 3 pointers?

The scary thing is Teague isn't even shooting as well as he usually does (42 FG%, 25% from 3). Imagine when his % comes back to the normal. Teague is doing everything I wanted him to do after all these years. Attack and get to the FT line.
