Premium Member sturt Posted July 5, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 ...that is, the contract that is the most amount of money and years that you're content with, and anything more, to your mind, would be giving up too much. I'm not one who's all that on-board with getting him in the first place, so I'm probably going to be on the low side compared to most of you... for me, I can go $9 mil and no more than 2 years without asking to have my Hawksquawk membership abolished. WillBarrow
3 at 10 per year would be absolutely the max for me...however I would pay that because I think he can be a pivotal piece.

Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted July 5, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 4yr/$37 mil w/ 4th year TO. Avg. $9.25 mil/yr. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
WraithSentinel
I prefer 4yrs/$10M-$11M per. However if they need to goto $12M per to seal the deal then so be it. Anything above that then he is not worth going after.
Premium Member sturt Posted July 5, 2014 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 Years, Sentinel? Years are kinda important for a guy his age, and with his recent injury history... right?
Plainview1981
I would be willing to go for a bit more money on a shorter contract (like Sap's) but less money for a longer one.
Hairydawgz
I'd say 3yr 10 mil per with PO after two, the PO will allow for maybe a lower amount per since he can sign one more deal before he is too old. tonegully
We are not getting him for 9 million. Lets be honest guys. Id do 3/36 with team option for the 3d year

coachx
I do a 4 year $40 mill contract with year 4 as a team option. Prefer 3 years $30 mill. I would pay $22 mill on a 2 year contract.

RWF
Deng>Monroe...whatddya say coach? ;-) I'd agree just because we would most likely have to give up Millsap to get Monroe (either sign and trade or just to fit Horford/Monroe in the frontcourt). I have high hopes in getting a superior player, so not set on either, but would be fine with both.
coachx
I'd pay Monroe more than Deng. Being 6'11'' with high skill, and just turned 24 in June. Guys with his size and skill are few and far between IMO.
Premium Member sturt Posted July 5, 2014 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 Monroe, I could stand a Horford contract, plus a bit for inflation... 4 x 12.
Hairydawgz
I doubt he does a TO.. I think he wants the flexibility on his end, not ours. Just my speculation Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Premium Member Sothron Posted July 5, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 What I want: 3 years for 8 million per What I expect: 4 years for 12 million per
Spurs
Monroe is a scrub. Can't play defense and is low bbiq. The hawks already have Millsap and Horford who are lightyears ahead of that guy. I'd pay Deng 4 year 11mil per year. Deng is a lite-two-way player. He would also get less minutes than chicago. That means his productivity would be better.
