Premium Member Jody23 Posted March 14, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 14, 2015 That was a nice finish, but Dennis has to quit that stuff.
FrankWhite
It's immature, and I'm sure Al and Jeff will talk to him about it, but that Phoenix team likes to talk, and a little cockiness is a good trait. Also, we never looked back after that. Phoenix started to discombobulate and we rolled. So I'm conflicted.
DJlaysitup
That was a nice finish, but Dennis has to quit that stuff. Yeah, Dennis seems to be getting too big for his britches...he needs to understand that he is a 2nd string PG (right now) on a team. I really hope he gets his mind working better and helps us in the playoffs as a brilliant defensive PG - instead of being a selfish assh_ole who screws it all up. (fingers crossed) Otherwise...play Mack. . . Edited March 14, 2015 by DJlaysitup
TheTruth
Did he get fouled on that play? Because if I did, and I just dunked on you after you fouled me upside the head, I'd do EXACTLY what Schröder did, too. If he wasn't fouled, yeah, he needs to knock it off...at least down a notch. bobrathbun4pres
I'm fine with what Shrooooter did because nobody else on our team would do that. Schröder never limits or loses games for us(so far) so if he wants to do that in the playoffs to fire up the team im fine with it. If he pulls a dumb young mistake then its a different story. Oh Crap...he basically lost the game but was rescued. Dennis needs to get his act together or Bud will be playing Mack more as we move towards the playoffs. He was attempting silly passes into traffic and was turning the ball over a bunch. Basically showing off and it wasn't working. . No way a coach like Bud even lets him in the game if he has a feeling he'll f*** up the game for ATL Edited March 14, 2015 by bobrathbun4pres
RandomFan
“Everybody said I pushed him down,” Schröder said. “I just tried to dunk it and I raised my hand and he fell. But I looked at him. I think that changed the whole game. It was great for us. “I learned something. It was a great situation and it changed the game but next time I have to keep going and don’t look at him.” Budenholzer praised the energy and the all-around play of Bazemore, especially in the fourth quarter. BackForThe2ndTime
No problem with what Dennis did. If you watch him, he gets into little petty squabbling in most games. It's not a habit for him to do what he did tonight. Plus a lot of that Phoenix team was talking a lot of shit. Made this win even more enjoyable. A cool part about this team is a lot of the key guys have a laid back/handle your business persona. It's good that some of our guys are more outwardly expressive IMO. And easier to understand with a small guy. And you can't doubt it gave this team a lift.

I have a gut feeling that he could be one those guys that cares about "being the man" and will look to cash in on the biggest payday in a few years regardless of the teams success. Plainview1981
This was obviously going to be a tough game... Phx is somewhat built like the Toronto Raptors with the good PG play and the front line made of role players.
Guest
Great thread as usual lw3!! I love the Morrii reference lol. I just finished watching the game on delay. We didn't play well in the first 3 quarters but came thru in the 4th. For some reason DMC is hesitating on taking the 3, either that or teams are closing in on him. I like Dennis being confident but I hope he doesn't become cocky. The stare down wasn't necessary imo. Somebody mentioned Teague yelling "pass the ball" to DMC, I missed that. Overall, I'll take the win. 1-1 on the trip thus far, 4 more to go. I'll be very happy with 3-1 and 4-2 overall on the trip. GO HAWKS!!!!!
Premium Member BrazilianHawk Posted March 14, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 14, 2015 It's amazing what this team can do when they want to play in the 4th. Good win!
Popular Post MaceCase
Coach Kerr is a moron. He is willingly throwing away homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs to rest guys that don't need a rest. How dare he display such arrogance and disrespect for the game by resting 3 starters and his 6th man? This just proves that the Warriors have a lack of depth and need help at PG,SG, SF, and C. What have the Warriors ever won anyway to be using this strategy? They are acting like they already have 5 championships under their belt...or 5 championship belts. The average age of their team is 26, they don't need rest like a 35 year old! There were Warrior fans in Denver that took their kids to the game. All they wanted was for them to see their favorite players, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, and maybe their team win but instead they had to endure jeers from Nuggets fans as their bottom feeding team beat them and now their kids will be disappointed for life. If anything, resting guys only puts more pressure on Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green to carry the team and increases their chance for injury. Loss was especially awful because the Warriors haven't had a quality road win since Jan. 17th. against the Rockets. Man, I sure remember Bird, Magic and Jordan needing rest. This league is pathetic. And oh yea, coach Kerr is a moron, the Hawks have had the 3rd best record since the All Star break while the Warriors have had the 5th best record. If this moron keeps throwing away games like this they will surely lose any chance at homecourt through the playoffs and will have to win on the road against the Hawks in the finals.
JETSET
It would be nice to have Bazemore locked down for another 3 years. Give him a little more time and he's going to be something special.
