GameTime
Forgot to add Richard Jefferson (like Rasual Butler a stop-gap starter that can play 20 minutes a game)
y2kenta
HAVE HAWKS EVEN CONSIDERED COREY BREWER? He would be a great replacement for Carroll. He brings the hustle, energy, hard-nose slashing, tough perimeter defense. He even had 51 points, 6 steals in a game a 1-2 years ago. We also know that he's good buddies with Al Horford from UF too. makes some sense. What do you guys think?
Premium Member BrazilianHawk Posted July 3, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 There are some intriguing players right there, GT. I'm not sold on Shved, but Rasual Butler, Babbit and Jefferson can all play. I wouldn't give them a starting job, tho. Caron Butler still got game, too. I would be leaning to start Thabo at SF over those guys. Teague - Schröder - Mack KK - Baze Thabo - THJr - One of the Butlers Millsap - Scott - Muscala Horford - Splitter - Tavares
Premium Member BrazilianHawk Posted July 3, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 Not sure we could afford him after the moves we have made, but asking can't hurt! I hate his shooting, but otherwise he's a good player.

bumpyphish1
Wes Johnson, Rasual Butler, and Dorell Wright...in that order. Though Rasual/Wes is a tough call.
benhillboy
I'm intrigued by Babbitt and Gee. I also believe Shved is a great fit although he's a guard. I still don't know the difference between Darrell Arthur and Dorell Wright and haven't seen more than 20 minutes of Wes Johnson. We may never see another near perfect season like the Warriors had. They were set up so lovely being able to sign such a luxury wing as Iggy. I know acquiring him would be costly, but Wilson Chandler would put us on par with GS-level dominance on paper, Brewer would not. Ryaan
It looks more and more likely Millsap starting the 3 till Thabos back. I just pray we don't start a 2 guard line up with Teague and Dennis
RandomFan
At least we aren't the Sacramento Kings So far they've lost out on, or been used for leverage to get a better deal by: Wes Matthews Corey Brewer Patrick Beverley Monta Ellis And then had to overpay for Belinelli. And now just wasted money on Rondo.
ATLien_
What would it take to get Terrance Ross from Toronto; he can't be happy to lose his starting spot to DMC? I liked him coming out of college, and I think he fits our offense much better than Toronto's. Do you think Mike Scott and a second round pick would get it done? He's a more talented version THJ that can play SF, so I bet Budcox would like him.

Premium Member sturt Posted July 4, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 4, 2015 I recall someone else here liked Ross... maybe @kg01 ? Personally, I'm looking for a SF body... we have sufficient SG bodies, and could even add Patterson still.

Wilson Chandler could be a good fit. Due to the circumstances, I guess I can get over my disdain for the DEN players quitting on their coach. I guess.
