Stats are completely useless trash when it comes to Dwight Howard. If he was in place instead of Al Horford against Cleveland, Cleveland would have stomped Atlanta into total oblivion 4 straight times by 30-40 with Kyrie dropping 50 every game. It doesn't matter how much he's being "fed", he will NOT impact winning. He can't guard the PNR on defense, he has NO post moves, he's completely useless on offense if he's not near the basket, all he cares about is posting up, when all of the other players are doing something else, which causes turnovers.

Dwight Howard should be shipped out of the league pronto.

This Is far too harsh. I don't like his fit in Atlanta either, but he's still good at what he is which is a rebound specialist.

If you don't want to read me go on about Dwight Howard, just put me on a block. Because I will whine and complain about him a lot until he is off of the team.

I invite everyone that wants to do it to do it now. Block me because every post about Dwight from me will be a complaint.

He's not even really a rebound specialist. He's a specialist at being big, because if he gets outhustled, he's not going to get the board.

It doesn't even matter who is the PG for the team, as 80% of the point guards in the league will hurt Dwight's feewings, including the one and only CP3.

I don't mind the try with Dwight. You need rim protection and rebounding to beat Cleveland. Or else you'll get whooped by Lebron driving and kicking or Tristan Thompson giving those shooters second chances. What really hurt is that we had no shooters and poor secondary ball handlers. Horford helped with both of those... I really want to see the team in the alternate universe where we have Horford and Dwight as the frontline and trade Millsap for other pieces. Sap was great, but I think that scenario would've led to a better year.

He got tons of rebounds so even if he did get out hustled sometimes, he still got his. I don't think this argument is as black and white as you're making it. He's not amazing anymore and he's not terrible. I say trade him if we can,  but if we can't, then it's not the end of the world.

You'd only be talking with about 5 people if that happened ;P

Unless you say Dwight is amazing, you're seen as a Dwight hater around here and AJC...

(It isn't even that I love Al, rather neither be on the team)

Not so, whatsoever. I think it's hilarious though, so I don't block ;)

I am done complaining about him. He is what he is. I just hate the comparisons to a beast like Al. Other than that, he's a disappointment but that's what I saw from him in Houston. It really shouldn't be a surprised. Honestly, he actually showed some value this year. He showed that he's still a good rotation player but he's been a non-starter for the last two seasons. He's overpaid but his contract is only for two more seasons. It's whatever.

I'll bite...can you lay out a statistical comparison where Al = beast, Dwight = disappointment? Especially considering Al makes more per year.

Wonder if any of these team:

A. Have the assets for a Dwight trade

B. Still interested in Dwight

Most likely he remains with us which is fine I was just curious if any of those teams still wanted Dwight.

??

According to ESPN's Calvin Watkins, the Orlando MagicMilwaukee BucksPortland Trail Blazersand Charlotte Hornets are the favorites to sign Howard in free agency.

I would actually expect one of your critics to be making this argument.  I guess I appreciate the honesty.
