5 points, 5 rebounds and 1 block in 14 mpg for the Heat last year. 13 / 12 / 2 per 36 numbers and could be a terrific low budget addition if he is who he looked like he was last year.

This would be a terrific signing and C-Viv mentioned that we had an offer out to him but that multiple other teams are interested as well.

This would be a good signing if we can get him on a reasonable deal. He should be able to defend to make up for Collins at PF.

And there it is... unlike some guys we could sign who actually would be scrubs, like Magette most likely, this guy has actually produced at a high level when given the opportunity and done it at the NBA level. So sure we'll probably do some dumpster diving... not unlike the Heat did finding him and Whiteside and unlocking their potential.

Plumless s dumpster diving. Willie Reed is a talent young guy playing behind a franchise player. Signing Reed would be like signing DMC and Millsap.

If he performed at a high level, he would have already been taken.

The Hawks would probably be targeting this guy even if they had kept Sap. There might be so potential here and so I don't have a problem with pursing him.

This is a little bleak. Willie Reed has performed in limited minutes. It isn't a stretch to think that with more minutes he could blossom into at least a decent starter. We have so many gaping holes that any real talent we can get is a godsend.
