Props to whomever of you coined that phrase by the way, brilliant. I know we’ve covered some of this in the ‘Props to Trae’ thread, as well as in last night’s game thread. But this historic performance by Ice Très warrants its own thread. It’s still early, but the Young’n just elevated himself to rare air. My-Name-Is-Luka will be a great player, Ice Très will be better. Schlenk got an additional lottery pick to go with him, he won that trade. Bill Simmons is starting to look like an idiot. Don’t give me any “it’s only 1 game”, “it’s still early”, “it was against an awful team” excuses. No mistaking this was a performance of epic proportions (see below). Schlenk got us our superstar in the draft folks. Welcome to the #traevolution ?

What could these guys look like in 5 yrs if kept together? I mean are upgrades needed or games played?

Games played will obviously help, but we'll have the money to upgrade a couple of the positions.

This vid is all over the internet, the entire nation has now heard The Rath of Bob calling that game. One of the funniest things I heard Bob say in the postgame was something along the lines of “and their rookie starter Sexton, who Trae just screwed into the ground.” I spewed my beer all over my leather couch and rug ?

Oh Lawd Bawb!!!

Sexton's draft stock seemed to be really boosted by him having a good game against Trae.   That game really exposed how bad OK was outside of Trae.

That’s what all the “Trae will be a bust” and “the Big 10 shut him down” short-sightedness was about. They failed to factor in the putrid team around him. Wise scouts saw through that.

A photo of the updated TPA graph was supposed to paste for effect but epic fail.  Anyway you get it, Omari’s a two way player, Trae ain’t.  With the trend of the NBA hopefully Trae’s defensive liabilities can be offset by his offensive insanity.

And youngest by 3 years. He could’ve done this 2 seasons from now (instead of his 3rd game) and still been youngest on that list ?

I agree with CLP for sitting him at the end. But consider had he stayed in, likely would’ve hit 40/13.
