Why do you want to play Trae 35+ minutes a game, anyway? We have LOTS of players to handle the 2 spot. Trae + Rose (30+18 minutes) would be really nice to have. 

A want an actual PG to run the second unit, not a LouWilliams-type guard.

My vote was Rose, Oladipo (won't come, money) and Dieng.

 

Outside of the backup PG, the other guys won't play much. Call me crazy and nostalgic, but my guys for those roles would be Rose, Baze, and Millsap.

Theoretically I’d love this. Loved them both as Hawks, Sap probably being a top 15 Hawk of all time for me and who doesn’t love the Gaze. Having said that, I’d probably personally pass on this if it’s me. Reunions are always cool though if it happens it would be fun.

No one likes Theis?   He's undersized but plays hard and has some skill.

Ya I mentioned him in a prior post. He actually fits well with us. I watched him a lot and he’s a big that grinds. He’s very capable and if a big is even barely capable, Trae would make him look 10X better.
