My favorite part of Delon Wright's game

My favorite part of his game is he's dependable. He's very consistent. It's generally just solid, nothing great, but usually not bad. He's a dependable player like how Luis Scola used to be.

Aight, my favorite move in his repertoire. That better? 😑

Definitely an outstanding move to add him.  My biggest worry might be that he is unhappy with his minutes.  If people are healthy, we look like we have too many good SGs to let him play there which doesn't leave a ton of time behind Trae in a lot of games.  I'm thrilled to have that problem, though, after what we've dealt with the last few years!

I like the consistency, the ability to understand his role and play it well. He is a team first guy, he’s just an overall basketball player. Very steady. Will always be available which is the best ability.

Also, comes from a basketball family as his brother played for the Heat and the Warriors later on. Dorell was a baller. Delon is much less erratic that Dorell but Dorell had a much higher ceiling. This kid is perfect for us.

We have Bogi who lead the league in steals in the playoffs and Wright who was #5 in the regular season.  Good stuff!

Yup I think the biggest upgrade for us is just the match-up flexibility we have. We won't have to ask Bogi to guard PGs anymore.

Starting next to Trae he still will

Yup, but I was thinking more of after Trae went down and we had to stick Bogi on Jrue and see him get eaten alive. Delon would have been able to come in and guard him much more effectively. Depending on the mathcups and the situations we have all the pieces available to adjust as we see fit.
