Take foul rule change benefits the Hawks.

 

When I first turned to this game, Trae was back on defense, but had Bobby Portis with the ball, charging right at him on the left side. 

Last season, that would've been an easy take foul for Trae or anyone else to commit.   Instead, Trae makes an attempt to stop the ball ( although a weak one ).  But it slowed down Portis enough for Capela and Collins to get back and challenge his shot.  Trae ends up getting the rebound, goes the other way, and pulls for a deep 3 5 seconds later.

But remember this, many of those "experts" believe that this Hawk team is not good enough to finish in the top eight in the east.  Apparently some believe that almost all eastern teams are so much better than last season.

And, just a reminder, some say the Falcons win two this season.  So far they are 2-2.
