WOW!  Today (09/23/2022) is the day!  Hawks open this exhibition season out of the USA, therefore we can begin, officially, today.  Coaches can now be present.

Despite the fact that most of our key players return, many new Hawks are present and we all want to see and hear all about them.  Remember, those first two games will be televised!

Sad for JC that his finger is still a mess.  Was hoping they could truly heal him this offseason.  That suggests this is something  that he is going to live with for a long time.  Hope when they say "functional' that means fully functional.

At face value, that would seem to be interpreted, "We think 14 is sufficient until it isn't... we'll pay for a 15th guy at that point we believe we actually need one."

That's a notably different thing than the interpretation of some cynical media tweeters (and yeah, HS posters for that matter) that Ressler's going to have an itchy trigger finger to reduce payroll.
